Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment ? Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions ? Measure, inspect, and verify completed parts using precision measuring tools including:MicrometersCalipersGauges ? Select the correct cutting tools, feeds, and speeds for various materials ? Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet exact specifications ? Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting ? Deburr, polish, and finish parts as needed ?
